Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle different floors. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.
When I tried the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. robotvacuummops adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a variety of unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than just moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
The robot is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled as needed. It comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it can be stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spin mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide space between obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings as well as view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are great at picking up dirt and debris but they can't reach all dust. It's essential to clean your home regularly, once a week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen in this price range even though it's not able to wipe your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't pick up cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home this allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't have to empty it as often. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. You can also mark off areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
